In the news last week, Sandisk have just released a 512GB SD Card – which is more storage capacity than many of our customers computers!
This is a world first – half a terabyte of storage in a tiny form factor, ready to go straight into your digital camera or video camera!
Apparently the card is fairly robust and Sandisk are claiming it can handle a lot of wear and tear including being “dunked” in water and trips through an xray machine.
US price is around $800 but given how these tech companies charge “Australian tax” and inflate the price of everything they sell here, we can see this being double that price in Australia.
